An Episode, An Update, And An Agenda

**#1 and #2: The Episode & Update

Episode 27 (**which is 3 minutes and 15 seconds in length**) features an update and a VGTV cast member who has not made an appearance in a while...

**#3: Friday Night's Easygoing Agenda

- Study (Not for long though, since my brain has been overworked this past week)

- Watch a film (Disclosure - good level of suspense, drama, and thrill in this film, so I recommend it)

- Enjoy dessert (Coconut Bliss - a mixture of the Vanilla Island & Chocolate Hazelnut Fudge flavors)

- Practice some gentle yoga (courtesy of my dear friend Polly - please check out her short, effective yoga practices!)

- Read some more of my current "guilty pleasure" book (Gossip Girl, The Carlyles #3: Take a Chance on Me - sorry, but I am in serious need of some mindless reading tonight, haha)

**So tell me: What is on your agenda? Are you taking the time to incorporate some easygoing activities into your life/busy schedule?

hey! Sorry that school is taking up a lot of your life right now! I bet that is supppper stresseful :( But your agenda seems pretty good. I love Polly and her yoga :)

My agenda for the weekend...is pretty easy. Workouts, yoga, (lots...of cleaning) and football. I am not in school right now so it is obviously way easier then your agenda lol. But this agenda may change because i am also getting my h1n1 shot and I'v heard it makes your arm VERY sore afterwards.

Have a great weekend!

Monday, I am hoping for some more me time ;) Enjoy your whole weekend. I so wish I could come to your party (whenever it will be). JEALOUS!

I can definitely relate to school taking up so much time!

I've been incorporating rest and fun things like shopping and baking.. but schoolwork is still included on my agenda!

you need a good night's sleep, or at least a night off :-) I'm just watching the leno show, eating a bit, and going to bed at 11. I did my fair share of studying I think

LOL i love the dog treats/dog droppings comment lol. Get some nice rest tonight girly!!! Midterms are going to be very stressful so we need to take things one thing at a time. :)

And i love your looking at the cover of the book comment too hahah. I'm trying to watch online lectures right now.. but obviously that's not going very well lol.

Get some rest!!

Hey, this is my first time commenting, but definitely not the first time I've watched VeggieGirl TV. ;) I'm sorry about your brain! You totally deserve a relaxing Friday night. Just chill out and do whatever. Very effective at restoring sanity. :)

Oh my - my agenda is not pretty!
1) Homework for school
2) Homework for work (marking, report cards etc).
3) Study for a test

Blech. Is it Christmas yet?

love the veggie episodes! i am going to do some mindless hiking tomorrow and then baking something out of pumpkin. not sure what but i know it will involve pumpkin! lol.

Brooke said...

i hope you enjoyed your night, girl! i stayed in and watched a movie with riley, too :)

and chooey! looking beautiful! aw, i love the close up noshing on her treats.

best of luck with your classes! dont worry, the countdown to winter break is on...! XO

Emma said...

Good luck getting everything done - I know how stressful this time of year is! Perhaps after the movie and some guilty pleasure reading, you'll feel more relaxed!

On my agenda? Today and tomorrow - day trips around Ireland with a friend of mine. Monday - paperpaperpaper. Sigh.

Chooey is too cute for her own good!

Take care! xo

Steph said...

That's a crazy workload you have there. It takes me a week to write one paper, I have no idea how you can handle so many! I kind of miss school now that I graduated and have no idea what I'm going to do. Well, that's not totally true, but I'm currently not doing anything too productive so yea...haha.

I've only read the first three gg books. Have you been watching the show? I don't think it's as good this season. As for some mindless reading, I'm re reading New Moon...again... I need a little refresher before the movie, which I totally can't wait for! I don't think I've been this excited for a movie release, ever. Anyway, before I get a little carried away and start rambling too much about twilight, I hope you have a great weekend!

What a sweet pup!
I'm sorry your brain is so fried, but it sounds like you've got quite the relaxing evening ahead. I'm also doing mindless reading. I'm reading a chicklit book, "Time Of My Life" by Allison Winn Scotch. I just finished reading, "The War Within" by Bob Woodward. It was a bit dense and a little depressing. I figured I'd choose a little brain candy for my next read. Sorry to be long-winded! Enjoy your evening!

dorothy said...

im sorry youre so busy with school work! i would say i am too, but you sound like you have quite a bit more on your plate than i do (ah not trying to make you feel worse!!)

we appreciate that you take the time out to still keep us posted everyweek though :)

chooey is absolutely adorable with her little treats!!

good luck on your essays and midterms, VG :D

i just got home from work, so my agenda is to read some blogs, catch up on episodes of the office and call it a night!

chooey looks soooo cute all shaved!

Katie said...

Oh I remember that feeling all too well - I am really glad I am at a place in my life where I don't have to write papers all the time.

Hang in there VG, and don't apologize for a second. You deserve a break! Enjoy your coconut bliss and your mindless reading.

Well, you know what was on my agenda last night... :)

6 papers a week for one class?!? Papers for Theater? Honestly, I'd rather write papers then have to get up on the stage and act.

Looking forward to some VG baking - maybe over Thanksgiving?

Love you VG!

Hang in there with uni, it's worth it in the end! I had an easygoing agenda planned for yesterday, saturday, which involved watching movies, reading books, and lazing around the house. But a spontaneous invitation saw me lazing on the beach at Magnetic Island instead--so worth it. I feel much more relaxed and I think I'll focus heaps better this week.

Dear VeggieGirl,

I am a researcher working at the University of Bath, UK, working on designer behaviour. Currently I am conducting an experiment to see how watching footage of people using and explaining the use of their kitchens can encourage better eco-design ideas.

An example might be designing a fridge to reduce the time the door is opened by the user etc.

I have been looking for videos on the internet and found the 'Kitchen Tour' video you posted on google videos. This would be perfect for my research but unfortunately when I download the video it fails to work. Thus I would be very appreciative if I could get a copy of this from you. It does not need to be supper quality but if you could re-upload it to google and make it available to download (This is important as I am required to keep records of everything I use) that would be perfect. Or if there is a more convenient wed based method that would be fine.

Unfortunately I can not offer payment for this but it would very much help my research and hopefully help us to develop better techniques for encouraging eco-thinking and eco-design.

I appreciate you may no longer have the video or not be inclined to help but thank you for your time in reading this request.

Best Regards,

Phil

A lot of us crazy bloggers definitely don't take the time to just have an easygoing evening. I think a lot of bloggers are type A people who always have to be on the move accomplishing things. Being home sick for the last few days has made me realize how lazy I feel just sitting around not accomplishing anything but in reality, we all need to just CHILL OUT every once in a while and embrace restful days.

Emily said...

Hope your week was less stressful! I know how it is to be so overwhelmed with stuff. Sounds like you had a great plan for some Friday night relaxation. I love Friday nights in...usually I'm so exhausted by the time Friday rolls around that I don't want to do anything!
